18K Gold Calculator

18K gold is .750 (75% gold). Weigh the piece, enter it below, and the calculator returns what that three-quarters-pure content is worth right now.

18K sits at the luxury end of everyday jewelry — richer color, softer metal, three-quarters pure. European pieces stamp it 750. Because 18K items skew designer, always check for a maker's mark before scrapping: the brand premium can exceed the metal value.

How to verify a 18K stamp

Check for 18K or 750 on the band interior or clasp. On 18K specifically, also hunt for a maker's mark next to the purity stamp — signed 18K pieces (Cartier, Tiffany, VCA) sell on the brand market at multiples of melt, and scrapping one unexamined is the most expensive mistake in gold selling.
